Brew Good Do Good: Our 10% Ocean Donation Program Starts Now

Paddle & Pour was born on the water — early mornings, salt in the air, boards on the roof, and that quiet moment when the ocean reminds you what "reset" actually feels like. If you're here, you probably know that feeling too.

And you also know the other side of it: trash lines after a busy weekend, wildlife in trouble, reefs under stress, and coastlines that need more than good intentions.

That's why we're officially kicking off something we've been building into Paddle & Pour from day one:

10% of every order

Goes to ocean conservation. Not as a limited-time campaign. Not as an optional add-on. This is structural — built into how we do business.

What this commitment means (and what it doesn't)

Here's the simple version:

10% of every order will be set aside for ocean-focused impact.
It applies to coffee, apparel, and merch — every checkout counts.
We plan to share impact updates and proof as we go, because transparency matters.

And here's the important part: we're going to do this the right way. We are in the process of building partnerships and donation pathways with organizations we trust. Some relationships are still in progress, and we will never imply an endorsement or affiliation that doesn't exist. When a partnership is confirmed, we'll say so clearly.

The organizations we're working toward supporting

As a starting point, we're currently working on partnerships and/or donation relationships with the following groups:

Pacific Marine Mammal Center (PMMC)

PMMC is known for rescuing, rehabilitating, and releasing marine mammals — work that directly supports healthier ecosystems and protects animals that make the ocean what it is.

Ocean Institute

Education is a force multiplier. The Ocean Institute's mission of ocean education and hands-on learning is the kind of long-term investment that changes how communities care for the coast.

4ocean

4ocean has become one of the most recognizable names in ocean cleanup. We're exploring how to support cleanup efforts in a way that's measurable and aligned with our values.

Mentioning these organizations does not mean they endorse Paddle & Pour, and it does not imply a formal partnership unless we explicitly state that a partnership has been confirmed.

How we'll keep this transparent

If you've been around the e-commerce world for a minute, you've seen "give back" claims that feel vague. That's not our lane.

Our goal is to make the impact side of Paddle & Pour as clear as the coffee side. Here's what you can expect from us as we grow:

Donation updates shared on our site and social
Receipts and confirmations when available and appropriate
Impact reporting — what we donated, where it went, and what it supported

We're a small-batch brand. That applies to how we build impact, too: consistent, trackable, and improving over time.

Why 10% — and why every order

We chose 10% of every order because it's meaningful. It forces us to build a business that can sustain giving, not just talk about it.

It also keeps things simple: you don't have to click a checkbox or do extra math at checkout. You just shop like normal, and the give-back is already built in.

Ready to make waves?

Shop coffee, grab some merch, or join our email list — and the ocean gets 10% of every order, automatically.

Brew Good. Do Good.

Got an organization you think we should know about — or want to hold us accountable? Drop us a note. We're building this in public, and we're proud to do it with you.
